Perfectly situated in one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in Manhattan, The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad brings to life its roots in the flower district and allows guests to discover the city in a completely new way. The incredible views from the guest rooms and rooftop bar coupled with the culinary partnership of José Andrés set the stage for an urban enclave for locals and guests alike in Madison Square Park.

Room

Contemporary design has been conceived by Rafael Vinoly Architects, Rockwell Group, Lazaro Rosa-Violan Studio, Martin Brudnizki and Sussurus International. The 250 guest rooms include 19 suites, and there are an additional 16 one and two bed penthouse residences, all of which feature bespoke furnishings, a neutral colour palette and Diptyque bathroom amenities with a fig tree-inspired scent. The room design has been inspired by the "soft curvature of petals" as well as sleek lines echoing New York's vertical design and city grid.

Rooftop Bar

The hotel also includes floral installations throughout as a nod to the Flower District, and an art collection curated by Culture Corps and founding partner Yvonne Force Villareal, featuring local artists such as Pat Steir, Ross Bleckner and Donald Baechler. Dining venues have been created by Michelin-starred chef José Andrés, and include the ground-floor all-day Zaytina restaurant and rooftop bar Nubeluz. The former has been designed by the Rockwell Group and offers meze and cocktails inspired by Turkish, Greek and Lebanese cuisine amid bronze metals, white oak wood and pops of blue. The rooftop bar, meanwhile, has been designed by Martin Brudnizki to mirror New York's glamorous past, featuring reflective surfaces and 270-degrees views of Manhattan.

Common Areas

There is also a first-floor Lobby Lounge and Bar and later this year the hotel will see the arrival of The Bazaar by José Andrés, a high-end theatrical dining venue designed by Barcelona-based studio Lazaro Rosa-Viola. Facilities include a club lounge for guests staying on the club level, a 632 sqm spa and fitness centre with eight treatment rooms, and 929 sqm of meeting space including an outdoor terrace.
