Cheval Blanc St-Barth

The barefoot rhythm of the French West Indies.

LVMH's Cheval Blanc hotel brand opened the St. Barth property in 2014, but after Hurricane Irma caused severe damage in 2017, the hotel underwent extensive renovations. Since then, the team has kept up a steady stream of updates and programming to ensure the 61-room getaway feels fresh, innovative, and over-the-top luxurious.
Part of the continued magic and draw of Cheval Blanc St-Barth is its location, perched directly on the edge of Flamands Beach, one of the largest beaches on the island. Guests can access the sparkling turquoise waters and white sand with ease, as it sits steps away from both of the pools as well as the hotel's popular beach restaurant, La Cabane, and La Case, an "ode to the Caribbean" by renowned chef Jean Imbert.

Rooms, Suites & Villas

With a spectacular sense of place and unveiling exquisite island elegance, the 61 rooms, suites and villas celebrate the Maison's lush gardens, splendid views of the sea or ivory sands of Flamands beach. All rooms, suites and villas feature spacious beautifully appointed bedrooms, private dressing rooms, light-filled bathrooms and a private terrace or balcony with views of the gardens or ocean. All Ocean and Beach rooms and suites feature the new architectural concept imagined by French designer Jacques Grange using a collection of vibrant patterns, rattan furniture, warm woods and airy cotton.

Culinary Arts

In the 21/22 season, the maison is now introducing guests to a new concept for the beach restaurant La Cabane, which has been entirely revamped and given a new culinary offering with menus designed by chef Jean Imbert. At La Cabane, dishes highlighting fresh produce including the morning's catch are now served in a space where textile and decorative elements, such as artisanal wicker baskets and terracotta jars, have been chosen to the harmonise with the surrounding foliage and palms. Two tribal-inspired statues stand at the entrance from the beach. Caribbean fruits, chocolate from the surrounding islands, responsibly harvested fishes and meat seasoned with island spices form the delectable core of the menu. All this combined with the Cheval Blanc Art de Recevoir for an unparalleled enchantment and an ultimate moment of conviviality.

Wellness & Relaxation

Nestled in the heart of the Maison's tropical gardens, the Cheval Blanc Spa features four treatment rooms, a sauna and an outdoor relaxation pavilion hidden in the lush vegetation. Soft lines and natural materials such as wood, limestone and marble create an atmosphere of complete relaxation and pure indulgence. Guerlain has created a wide range of massages as well as face and body treatments, specially conceived for Cheval Blanc St-Barth. The fitness center is equipped with the latest Technogym machines and cutting-edge equipment. Upon request, bespoke programmes can be conceived individually and special coaching sessions can be organised with a personal trainer. Overlooking the Maison's beach, two sparkling swimming pools offer a relaxing setting for a sunbathing afternoon between cooling dips, with spectacular views of Flamands Bay.
